Digital media expertise earns L’Oréal USA's CMO top honors

It’s all about digital media—and L’Oréal USA’s CMO has what it takes to make it a success. Marc Speichert, chief marketing officer of L’Oréal USA recently received a Brand Innovators ’40 Under 40’ Award honoring the 40 most innovative brand marketers under 40 years old. He was selected for his professional accomplishments and his ability to leverage digital media and emerging advertising’s technology platforms. Speichert was appointed the first CMO of L’Oréal USA in 2010. With more than 15 years of international brand management experience and expertise, he constructed a groundbreaking organizational structure comprised of Insights, Digital/Media, and Business Development. He has created programs, partnerships, and digital platforms to evolve both the customer and L’Oréal USA employee experience. “It’s a great honor to receive this award as driving innovation is at the very core of my team’s mission. We are thrilled to be getting the recognition for what we started to put in place within L’Oréal USA” said Mr. Speichert. “ “The Brand Innovators ’40 Under 40′ List represents the first generation of brand marketers that grew up with digital media as their native language, and therefore have truly embraced digital platforms to engage with consumers. Not only do they get it, they are driving the future of the media and communications industries,” said Marc Sternberg, co-founder of Brand Innovators. “Brand Innovators searched the country for client side rock stars who are not only innovating within their organizations but progressing positive change for the industry overall,” added Brand Innovators co-founder, Brandon Gutman.
